Junior School Triathlon

We had such a fantastic time watching the kids cycle, run, and swim in the Junior School Triathlon. Everyone tried their best and showed their true athletic talents! I am so proud of everyone in Room 10 for participating!

Check out some photos from the event below:

The Year Has Begun!

What a wonderful start we have had in Room 10! We began the year with a surprise visit from the Crusaders who talked to us about setting personal goals. We will continue to talk about goals we set for ourselves this year-both personal and academic!

Tai Tapu School with the Crusaders!

In week 3, we celebrated Valentine's Day by writing to someone special in our lives. In order to decorate our cards, we learned how to create perfect hearts using a line of symmetry. This blossomed into a contest to see who could create the most interesting and creative symmetry shapes. Check out your child's Maths Scrapbook for examples of our work.

Showing off some of our Valentine's Day cards.

Noah has created many designs that show symmetry!

During Discovery this week, the kids could participate in a wide variety of activities at their own choosing. Some of their choices included making a diorama, painting self portraits, imaginative role play, outside team building activities, garden collages, and more! Room 10 hosted self-portraits. Check out our learning below!
